Characteristics of a high performing Sales Team

HUNT Properties has been purposefully built to be a 'team of teams' to achieve our mission of being the market leader in property sales whilst also giving back to our environment and community.

Our mission is carried out using an entirely new and unconventional system that is unique to the property industry.

The sales cycle of listing properties with sellers, and selling properties to buyers, is split into two teams. The listing team's sole purpose is to accumulate the best properties at the correct value. Our sales team concentrates on actively servicing our buyers and executing sales.

We financially back our sales force by guaranteeing them a set income every month. The comfort of guaranteed monthly income with high level performance goals allow for a focused, positive mindset.

Commission is pooled and split, with team performance overriding personal ambitions. A stage-orientated sales strategy, developed within the company, is followed religiously whilst simultaneously being used to monitor individual performance and contribution to the team.

Administrative orientated team members fulfil key rolls within the sales cycle and act as a support system to the sales teams. An operational team keeps the machinery of the company operating efficiently and ensures that properties seamlessly transfer within a reasonable timeframe. The marketing and branding team focus on representing our brand and client's properties in the best possible light.

Team incentives across all divisions of the company are awarded collectively. We highlight the team's success only.

These sets of ideals run counter to the traditional real estate agency, therefore our hiring policy is considerably more stringent, and we look for certain traits in our team members. These traits are as follows

PEOPLE ORIENTATED: Having a genuine interest in people and a high level of empathy is important for sales and when working in a team environment.

COMMUNICATORS: You must be a great communicator both to build trust with your clients and work effectively within the team.

HIGH WORK ETHIC: A team brings shared responsibility which requires each member of the team to have a high work ethic.

PRESSURE PLAYERS: The capability to perform under pressure. The company is designed for teams to compete and outperform companies with far larger staff compliments.

CHALLENGERS: Having the gumption to challenge clients and fellow team members, is a strength of character that is important.

TEAM FOCUSED: Wanting what is best for the team and company is endemic in the company's culture. This also means having no ego or entitlement.

WINNING MINDSET: Having a positive winning mindset is important with a sales team working in a highly competitive environment.

These shared characteristics assist in creating an energized, harmonious, winning culture within HUNT Properties. A culture that will endure as the company expands into different regions and tackles new projects.
